Gisborne District Dog Control Bylaw 2010 and Dog Control Policy provides for a discounted registration fee for responsible dog owners who satisfy fencing, housing and dog control criteria. The discount will apply in the next dog registration year following application, provided the criteria are met and continue to be met.
* If registration is not paid by the due date, Selected Owner status is revoked and fee is ordinary rate including penalty.
* Animal Control have the right to revoke Selected Owner status at their discretion due to any non-compliance.
